Uma ampla gama de conversão e armazenamento de energia, catálise e aplicações do sensor beneficiar de nanoestruturas metálicas tridimensionais que fornecem controle sobre reatividade química e transporte de massa propriedades1,2, 3,4,5. Tais nanoestruturas metálicas 3-dimensional mais aumentar a condutividade, ductilidade, maleabilidade e força8,9. Aqui, apresenta-se um método para sintetizar ouro, paládio e platina aerogels através de uma redução com base em solução rápida, direta. A combinação de vários íons de metal nobre de precursor com agentes de redução em um resultados de proporção 1:1 (v/v) na formação de géis de metal dentro de segundos a minutos em comparação com muito mais vezes de síntese para outras técnicas, como o sol-gel. Realizar a etapa de redução numa microcentrifuga tubo ou tubo cónico de pequeno volume facilita uma proposta de nucleação, crescimento, densificação, fusão, modelo de equilíbrio para a formação de gel, com gel de final geometria menor do que o volume de reação inicial. Este método aproveita a evolução de gás hidrogênio vigoroso como um subproduto da etapa de redução e como consequência de concentrações de reagente. O solvente acessível superfície específica é determinada com espectroscopia de impedância electroquímica e voltametria cíclica. Após enxaguar e liofilização, a estrutura resultante de aerogel é examinada com varredura, microscopia eletrônica de varredura, difratometria de raios-x e adsorção de gás nitrogênio. As técnicas de método e caracterização de síntese resultam em uma estreita correspondência de tamanhos de ligamento de aerogel. Esse método de síntese para metal nobre aerogels demonstra essa alta área de superfície específica monólitos podem ser alcançados com uma abordagem de redução rápida e direta.
