Flere press knutepunktet linjer har høyere separasjon effektivitet og sensitivitet i forhold til den knutepunktet linjen i konvensjonelle SSAW-baserte microparticle skilletegnet. Plasseringen av de presset kan eventuelt også endres ved å justere den fase forskjellen på de to IDTs design32,33.
Grunnleggende frekvens og den tredje harmoniske av IDTs har lignende frekvensrespons slik at de kan bli spennende samtidig, som gir mer tunability microparticles manipulasjon34. I forhold til konvensjonelle IDT magnetisering på en enkelt frekvens, justere akustisk presset av dual frekvens magnetisering og fasen mellom dem gir teknisk unikhet, som opp til ~ 2-fold redusert bevegelse tid press knutepunktet linje eller midten av microchannel, variert nummeret og plasseringen av press knutepunktet linjene og microparticle konsentrasjoner.

microparticle manipulation by standing surface acoustic waves with dual-frequency excitations

Vi viser en metode for å øke tuning muligheten av en stående akustiske overflatebølger (SSAW) microparticles manipulering i en lab-on-a-chip (LOC) system. Samtidige magnetisering av grunnleggende frekvens og sin tredje harmoniske, som er betegnet som dual frekvens eksitasjon, til et par av interdigital transdusere (IDTs) kan generere nye typer står akustiske bølger i en mikrovæskekanalen. Varierende kraften og fasen i dual frekvens magnetisering signaler resultater i et rekonfigurerbare akustisk stråling kraften til microparticles over microchannel (f.eks, antall og plassering av de trykk og microparticle konsentrasjoner på tilsvarende presset noder). Denne artikkelen viser at bevegelse tid microparticle eneste press noden kan reduseres ~ 2-fold på kraft forholdet mellom grunnleggende frekvens større enn ~ 90%. Derimot er det tre press noder i microchannel hvis mindre enn denne terskelverdien. Videre justere startfasen mellom grunnleggende frekvens og tredje harmonisk resultatene i ulike bevegelser priser av de tre SSAW press og prosentandelen av microparticles på hver press node i microchannel. Det er en god avtale mellom eksperimentelle observasjon og numeriske spådommer. Denne romanen eksitasjon metoden kan enkelt og ikke-invasively integrere i LOC systemet, med et bredt tenability og noen få endringer til det eksperimentelle set-up.

Distribusjonen av akustisk trykket og akustisk stråling kraften av en SSAW på dobbel-frekvens magnetisering (6.2 og 18.6 MHz) er vist i figur 1. Her, dual frekvens magnetisering skjer polystyren microparticles (4 µm i diameter) i en microchannel med en bredde på 300 µm på en akustisk effekt på 146 mW.
