在密度梯度离心后, 如协议第3.1 步所述, 管底部的红色粘性液体将包含大部分的红血球。如图 2a所示, 红血球上方是密度介质的一层。在顶部的一层透明或黄色的血浆和密度梯度介质之间是白色或浅棕色的蓬松涂层层, 其中包含大部分的白细胞和血小板。不完全分离将表现为密度梯度介质顶部存在红血球。图 2a中血浆的红色着色很可能是溶血造成的, 因为这个血液样本在处理前1.5 小时储存在收集管中。图 2b显示 pbmc 隔离装置中 pbmc 分离装置中 (左) 和 (右) 离心前后的梯度。图 2b 中的血液样本在采集血液后以最小延迟的速度进行处理, 血浆着色为黄色。

对动物进行了对 h1n1 流感株 aa/puertorico8 的质粒 dna 编码的免疫。图 4显示了在疫苗接种方案期间生成的点形成单元 (sfu) 所显示的 t 细胞 ifn-γ响应的枚举。利用从非免疫动物身上采集的 pbmc 进行 elispot 检测, 可忽略不计的点数 (无 tx)。第一次免疫接种14天后, 免疫原性刺激后, 平均每百万 pmc 中有 970 ifn γ点。第二次免疫接种 (助推) 七天后, 对所有三个池的 t 细胞反应都扩大了, 平均达到 5020 ifn-γ sfusn-6 pbmc, 第二次免疫 (记忆) 后 46天, 平均总数为 6310 ifn-γ sus6 种pbmc 被计算在外周血中。
