Zacht, low-power, biomoleculaire memristors hefboomwerking dezelfde samenstelling, structuur en omschakeling van de mechanismen van de bio-synapsen. Hier gepresenteerd is een protocol te monteren en karakteriseren van biomoleculaire memristors verkregen isolerende lipide bilayers gevormd tussen waterdruppeltjes in olie. De opneming van spanning-geactiveerde alamethicin peptiden resultaten in de Ionische huidgeleiding memristive over het membraan.
