Eine Reihe von Methoden zur Bestimmung der potentiellen DNRA-Rate auf Basis von 14NH4+/15NH4+ Analysen wird detailliert bereitgestellt. NH4+ wird über mehrere Schritte in N2O umgewandelt und mittels Quadrupol-Gaschromatographie–Massenspektrometrie analysiert.
