为了实现一致性，我们优化了自动液体处理机执行的每个移液步骤。我们首先考虑了液体类型（等离子体、水或有机）和相应的特性（粘度、粘合度和波动性）、硬件（工作站移液头和板抓臂）和实验室软件所施加的体积和约束。然后，我们改变速度和尾随空气间隙的吸入，速度和井喷体积的点胶，以及力和混合持续时间，同时结合提示触摸后，吸入和/或分配，如果需要，以消除液体粘附在尖端外部（图13，补充表1）。一个独特的SIL肽，预先筛选的稳定性，被刺到每个试剂，以便能够监测每个液体处理步骤的精度。优化后，大多数转换的过程 CV 小于 10%，显示自动工作站具有良好的重现性（图 9、图 10、图 11和图 12）。
