I denne studien presenterer vi en protokoll for kortisol ekstraksjon fra fin og kjevebenet av Sturgeon arter. Fin og kjevebenet kortisol nivåer ble ytterligere undersøkt ved å sammenligne to vaske løsemidler etterfulgt av ELISA analyser. Denne studien testet muligheten for kjevebenet kortisol som en roman stress indikator.
