在空间微重力条件下，由于重力的缺失，出现了许多有趣的物理现象。在具有自由表面的液体中，存在由温度梯度或浓度梯度引起的新的流系统（即热毛细管流）。与传统的地面对流不同，热毛细管对流在空间环境中是一种普遍现象。由于微重力流体物理学是一个非常重要的研究课题，因此在空间和地面进行了一些实验。最近，对SJ-10可回收科学实验卫星的热毛细对流进行了空间实验研究。空间实验有效载荷由流体实验系统、液体储存和注入系统、温度控制系统、热电偶测量系统、红外热像仪、位移传感器、CCD图像采集系统和电气控制系统等八个系统组成，如图1所示（左图）。图1（右）显示了用于研究热毛细管对流表面波的空间实验有效载荷。本研究侧重于流的不稳定性、振荡现象和过渡，这是从层流向混沌过渡过程中的重要特征。这些基础学科的研究对强非线性流的研究具有重要意义。
与体积力驱动的浮力对流不同，热毛细管对流是由两种不可混合流体之间的界面内表面张力引起的现象。表面张力的大小随一些标量参数而变化，包括温度、溶质浓度和电场强度。当这些标量场在界面中分布不均匀时，自由表面上将存在表面张力梯度。自由表面上的流体由表面张力梯度驱动，从表面张力较小的位置移动到表面张力较大的位置。这种流动首先是由意大利物理学家卡洛·马兰古尼解释的。因此，它被命名为"马兰格尼效应"1。自由表面上的马兰贡尼流通过粘度延伸到内部液体，因此产生所谓的马兰哥尼对流。
严格地说，对于具有自由表面的流体系统，热毛细管对流和浮力对流在正常重力下始终同时出现。一般来说，对于宏观对流系统，热毛细管对流是一种轻微的影响，通常与浮力对流相比被忽略。然而，在小型对流系统或微重力环境下，浮力对流将大大减弱，甚至消失，热毛细管对流将成为流系统中的主导。长期以来，由于人类活动的局限性和研究方法22、3、4，3,4研究一直集中在宏观尺度浮力对流上。然而，近几十年来，随着航空航天、薄膜、MEMS、非线性科学等现代科学技术的飞速发展，对热压毛对流的进一步研究的需求日益迫切。

了解振荡和分叉对热层对流的影响，对于研究空间中强非线性流十分重要。由于空间资源和条件有限，实验有效载荷体积小，重量轻，具有抗振动能力。空间技术的突破，如进行液体表面维护和无气泡的液体注入，可以进一步提高流体物理微重力实验的技术能力。观察液体的对流过渡、温度振荡和表面变形需要使用热电偶红外热像仪和位移传感器。演示程序的将是王佳，吴迪和胡亮，我的实验室技术人员。首先建造一个直径为4毫米的铜环形液体池，外半径为20毫米，高度为12毫米。使用 20 毫米直径的多糖板作为液池的底部，并在离板中心六毫米远的 6 毫米小孔中钻一个液体注入孔。在内侧和外侧壁上添加锐利的 45 度角角，并将防蠕变液体涂抹到内壁和外壁的高度大于 12 毫米。接下来，选择适当的低粘度硅油作为工作液，将液体加热至60摄氏度。要排放油中的任何气体，请施加少于 150 帕斯卡的压力 6 小时，然后对液体储存系统进行真空吸尘，直到压力达到略低于 200 帕斯卡。然后，释放阀门，让硅油在没有气体的情况下加注真空气。要为工作液体设置喷射系统，请选择一个步进电机来驱动液体的喷射和吸附，并应用电磁阀来控制喷射系统的开/关开关。使用通用接头将步进电机连接到液体气缸，并使用四毫米外径管道连续连接液缸、电磁阀和喷射孔。要建立测量系统，请将六个热电偶放在液体池内，以测量不同点的温度，如图所示。将红外摄像机直接放在液体表面上方，旋转镜头以调整对焦并收集无液体表面的温度场信息。调整位移传感器以测量液体表面特定兴趣点的位移，并使用 CCD 摄像机对液体表面进行聚焦。然后，记录自由曲面的变化。要开始实验，请启动实验控制软件，然后打开电源按钮。要执行液体喷射，请对电磁阀施加 12 伏以打开阀。接下来，打开电机按钮，以 2.059 毫米的步长启动电机，将 10，305 毫升硅油注入液体池。送油后，关闭电磁阀电源以关闭电磁阀。要进行线性加热，将加热目标温度设置为 50 摄氏度，将冷却目标温度设置为 15 摄氏度，将加热速率设置为每分钟 0.5 摄氏度。对于数据收集，将红外成像器的采样频率设置为 7.5 赫兹，将热电偶频率和位移传感器设置为 20 赫兹，将 CCD 频率设置为 24 赫兹。设置所有参数后，单击数据收集系统按钮，并监视计算机软件中的温度、位移和其他感兴趣的信息。在分析结束时，关闭电源。这些实验模型和测量方法集成在SJ-10卫星的有效载荷中。完成了23项表面波热胶囊对流微重力实验。在这些红外热图像中，在热胶囊对流中无液体表面的温度分布，可以观察到各种振荡流动模式，包括径向振荡和顺时针和逆时针环流旋转。在这个具有代表性的实验中，流体内部的温度随着温差的增加而呈线性上升，当温差超过一定阈值时，温场会周期性波动，表明热胶囊对流从稳定状态发展到振荡状态。此外，振荡温度的振幅随着流场的演变而增加，如本频谱分析所示，表明临界振荡频率为0.064赫兹。虽然小型地面系统的浮力对流减弱，但流量仍然是热起和对流耦合，在空间实验结果中观察到不同的结果，与地面实验的结果相比。通过比较位移传感器测得的无液体表面的大量变形数据以及热电偶测量的流体温度数据，还发现流体表面变形和温度场开始在同一时间、同频振荡。这两项关键技术，即流体表面的维护以及无气泡形成的液体的注入，在实验空间研究中发挥着至关重要的作用。我们希望，目前的工作可以为有兴趣尝试这些技术的观众提供科学依据和技术支持。
