이전 연구는 IGD다른 행동 중독 및 약물 사용 장애와 임상 및 신경 생물학적 유사성을 공유 할 수 있음을 제안했다5,6. 등측전두엽피질(DLPFC)은7,충동조절8,의사결정9,인지유연성10과 같은 물질및 행동중독의 병리생리학에 밀접하게 관여하는 것으로 보고되었다.
