Dit is voornamelijk te wijten aan overtollig/opofferings reagens afval, lage doorvoer 5 + stap lithografie processen en energie-intensieve omgevingen (0,01-10 Torr en/of 400-1000 °C temperaturen) met weinig of geen directe controle over resulterende materiaalkenmerken . Onderdompeling van een plasmonische ondergrond (bv. au nanodeeltjes/zaad) in een precursor omgeving (bv. waterige PD zoutoplossing) onder verlichting op het gelokaliseerde oppervlak Plasmon Resonance (SPR) initieert uitwendig afstemmingen (d.w.z. veld polarisatie en intensiteit) fotochemische afzetting van de precursor via plasmonische hete elektronen en/of fotothermische hellingen3,4. De protocol parameters/-vereisten voor de plasmonically-gestuurde fotothermische ontleding van au-, Cu-, PB-en Ti-organometallics en ge-hydriden op nanogestructureerde AG-en au-substraten zijn bijvoorbeeld gedetailleerd met5,6, 7,8,9. Echter, gebruik van femtosecondelaser plasmonic hete elektronen aan direct photoreduce metaalzouten in een metaal-oplossing interface blijft grotendeels onontwikkeld, afwezige processen met citraat of poly (vinylpyrrolidon) liganden die fungeren als intermediair charge Relais naar directe nucleatie/groei van de secundaire metalen2,10,11,12. Anisotropic PT-decoratie van au nano (aunr) onder longitudinale SPR (lspr) excitatie werd onlangs gerapporteerd1,13 waar de PT verdeling viel samen met de dipool polariteit (dat wil zeggen, de veronderstelde ruimtelijke verdeling van Hot carriers).

photodeposition of pd onto colloidal au nanorods by surface plasmon excitation

Een protocol wordt beschreven om fotokatalytisch te begeleiden PD afzetting op au nano (aunr) met behulp van de oppervlakte Plasmon resonantie (SPR). Opgewonden plasmonic hete elektronen bij SPR-bestraling rijden reductieve afzetting van PD op colloïdaal AuNR in de aanwezigheid van [PdCl4]2-. Plasmon-gedreven reductie van secundaire metalen versterkt covalente, subgolflengte depositie op gerichte locaties samenvalt met elektrisch veld "hot-spots" van de plasmonic substraat met behulp van een extern veld (bijvoorbeeld laser). Het hierin beschreven proces beschrijft een oplossingfase afzetting van een katalytisch-actief edelmetaal (PD) van een overgangs metaalhalide-zout (H2pdcl4) op de watervrije, anisotrope plasmonische structuren (aunr). Het oplossingsfase proces is vatbaar voor het maken van andere Bimetaal architecturen. Transmissie UV-VIS bewaking van de fotochemische reactie, in combinatie met ex-situ XPS en statistische tem-analyse, bieden onmiddellijke experimentele feedback om de eigenschappen van de Bimetaal structuren te evalueren terwijl ze evolueren tijdens de fotokatalytische reactie. Resonant Plasmon bestraling van AuNR in de aanwezigheid van [PdCl4]2- creëert een dunne, covalently-gebonden PD0 shell zonder enig significant dempend effect op zijn plasmonic gedrag in deze representatieve experiment/batch. Over het algemeen biedt plasmonic photoafzetting een alternatieve route voor hoge volume, economische synthese van opto-elektronische materialen met sub-5 nm-kenmerken (bijv. heterometallic fotokatalysatoren of opto-elektronische interconnects).

Transmissie UV-VIS spectra, X-ray Photoelectron spectroscopie (XPS) data, en Transmission Electron microscopie (TEM) beelden werden verkregen voor de door cTab bedekte aunr in de aanwezigheid/afwezigheid van H2pdcl4 in het donker en onder resonante straling bij hun longitudinale SPR (LSPR) om de nucleatie/groei van PD te katalyseren. transmissie UV-VIS spectra in Figuur 1 en Figuur 2 geven inzicht in de reactie dynamiek volgens veranderinge...

Een reductief plasmonisch fotodepositieprotocol versterkt de mogelijkheid om sub-vijf nanometer covalente metaalassemblage te begeleiden op gerichte locaties met optimale interfaciale kenmerken bij omgevingsverwerkingsomstandigheden. Het belangrijkste voordeel van deze techniek is de mogelijkheid om een extern veld te gebruiken, zoals een laser om de dikte en locatie van epitaxiale metaalgroei te controleren. We hebben al aangetoond plasmonische fotodepositie van metallic platina en zilver, en hebben vertrouwen dat deze methode kan worden uitgebreid tot vele anderen voor een verscheidenheid van katalytische toepassingen.Het aantonen van de procedure zal ikzelf en Jonathan Boltersdorf, een chemicus bij het U.S.Army Research Laboratory. Om met deze procedure te beginnen, verdun 830 microliter met geconcentreerd zoutzuur met water tot 100 milliliter om een 0,1 molaire zoutzuuroplossing te verkrijgen. Verdun 4 milliliter van deze oplossing met water tot 20 milliliter om een zoutzuuroplossing van 20 millimolar te creëren.Pipette 10 milliliter van deze 20 millimolar zoutzuuroplossing in geschikt glaswerk. Voeg vervolgens 0,0177 gram palladium-tweechloride toe aan het zoutzuur en meng via sonicatie totdat alle palladium(ii)chloride is opgelost. De resulterende oplossing van diwaterogen tetrochloropallidaat moet een concentratie van 10 millimolar hebben en een donkeroranje kleur vertonen.Dan, pipet 2,5 milliliter waterig opgehangen goud nanorod oplossing met een tot 10 millimolar cetyltrimethyl ammonium bromide oppervlakteactieve stof in een 1 centimeter pad lengte macro volume cuvette met een magnetische roerstaaf. Leg de cuvette op een roerplaat. Pipette 475 microliters van ontgast methanol in de cuvette terwijl zachtjes roeren.Blijf ongeveer 15 tot 20 minuten roeren terwijl je periodiek alle bellen verwijdert door zachtjes op de onderkant van de cuvette tegen een stijf oppervlak te tikken als dat nodig is. Hierna worden vijf microliter met voorraad geconcentreerd zoutzuur in de cuvette gepipeteerd en laat het 15 minuten mengen. Injecteer vervolgens 25 microliter van 10 millimolar diwaterstof tetrochloropallidaat in het reactiemengsel voor een atoomverhouding van palladium tot goud van één tot vijf.Laat de oplossing een uur lang complex in het donker tijdens het roeren. Bestraal vervolgens het reactiemengsel met een ongepolariseerde 715 nanometer lang verleden gefilterde wolfraam-halogeenlamp met een intensiteit van 35 milliwatt per centimeter in het kwadraat gedurende 24 uur. De volgende dag, was de resterende chemicaliën en reagentia uit de palladium-goud nanorods door centrifugeren op 9000 keer G.Gebruik een pipet om de supernatant te verwijderen, en opnieuw op te schorten de pellet in water.Dompel het flesje in een bad sonicator voor een tot twee minuten om de nanorods te verspreiden en de was te voltooien. Herhaal dit hele wasproces nog eens. In deze studie worden UV-visabsorberende spectra tijdelijk geregistreerd om veranderingen op te helderen bij het toevoegen van elke component die het reactiemengsel omvat dat begint met de gouden nanorods.De toevoeging van methanol en zoutzuur vermindert de absorptie-magnitude via verdunning. De toevoeging van dihydrodgen tetrochloropallidaat zorgt ervoor dat UV-vertraging en metalen lading overdracht functies ontstaan. Na een uur in het donker te hebben gequilibreren, vertonen de palladium(ii)moleculen lasttransferbanden op 247 en 310 nanometer.Bij bestraling op het gouden nanorod longitudinale oppervlak plasmon resonantie, de lading overdracht bands snel blueshift naar 230 en 277 nanometer respectievelijk. De omvang van de absorptie van de dominante piek voor ladingoverdracht daalt van 1,7 tot ongeveer 0,47 over een periode van 24 uur als gevolg van fotoreductie van geabsorbeerd palladium(ii)door plasmonische hete elektronen. De twee SPR-modi worden vervolgens geanalyseerd voor en na resonerende bestraling.De longitudinale SPR roodverschuivingen van 807 naar 816 nanometer. Met 7 nanometer lijn breedte uitbreiding, de dwarse SPR blijft ongewijzigd. XPS bevestigt de aanwezigheid van metalen palladium door de opkomst van palladium-3D-lijnen bij bindende energieën van 335 en 340 elektronenvolt.TEM onthult de morfologieën van de gouden nanorods vermengd met diwaterstof tetrochloropallidaat in het donker en na resonerende bestraling. Resonerende verlichting levert scherp getipte nanorods op met ruwgeharde radiale interfaces. Dergelijke kenmerken worden niet waargenomen in het donker.De verdeling van nanorod lengtes geeft aan dat de gemiddelde lengte groeide van 127 tot 129 nanometer. Dit is te wijten aan de aanwezigheid van fotogedeponeerde palladium aan de uiteinden van de staven, zoals bevestigd in een EDS-kaart. Het is belangrijk dat de CTAB-concentratie niet meer dan één tot 10 millimolar in de stockgouden nanorod-oplossing bedraagt.Anders wordt het voorlopertransport naar het goudoppervlak geremd. Deze procedure kan gemakkelijk worden aangepast om andere katalytische metalen zoals platina of iridium op plasmonically actieve zaadstructuren te synthetiseren om een breed scala aan fotokatalysatoren te synthetiseren. We hebben nu een architectuur waar plasmonische energie direct kan worden doorgegeven aan een katalytisch oppervlak zonder enige interfaciale barrière die ons in staat stelt om plasmonische fotokatalyse effectiever te onderzoeken.Zoutzuur is een corrosief, sterk zuur en moet worden behandeld in een rookkap met de juiste persoonlijke beschermingsmiddelen zoals brillen en handschoenen.
