乳癌関連リンパ浮腫(BCRL)は、腋窩手術後に起こる上肢の体液貯留および/またはリンパ節転移を有する乳癌患者の約20〜80%の放射線療法(N>1)1、2、3である。この状態は、その後の機能低下、併存疾患、欲求不満、不安、およびうつ病のリスクの増加を伴う四肢の腫脹をもたらす 4,5.BCRLは現在、手術後9年まで生じることができることを考えると、乳がんの生存者にとって長年の脅威と考えられている6.
