タンパク質分泌と立体構造変化の顕微鏡的可視化に加えて、この方法は、細菌感染プロセスの単一ステップをリアルタイムで監視し、異なる時点での付着菌の量を定量化するために使用することができる感染。特定のソフトウェア制御ポンプシステムはまた、内皮細胞を定義された一定の流れ条件で数日間培養する可能性を提供し、定義されたパルス媒体フローインキュベーションを可能にする。さらに、このメソッドは、異なるセルタイプを使用して適用することができます。染色プロトコルを適応させることは、真核細胞に内部化された細菌の検出および可視化も可能にする。
