Når Silicon-fluorid acceptor (SiFA)-motivet inkorporeres i et radiotracer, muliggør det en simpel 18F-mærknings protokol, der er uafhængig af dyrt udstyr og forberedende træning, samtidig med at det er nødvendigt at reducere prækursorer og udnytte mildere reaktionsbetingelser.
