F-18 라벨트레이서의 작은 알리쿼터를 역단계 C18 컬럼이 장착된 HPLC 시스템에 수집하여 주입하여 방사능 순도가 95% 이상임을 확인하면 F-18 라벨이 부착된 SiFA 트레이서를 동물 또는 인간 피사체에 주입할 수 있으며 PET 스캐너에서 수집된 동적 데이터를 재구성하여 3차원 PET 의 시간 시리즈를 생성할 수 있다. 한 예에서, 전립선암 화상 진찰을 위해 개발된 이 SiFA 태그된 작은 분자 추적자는 전임상 연구를 위해 마우스에 이식된 종양을 구상하기 위하여 성공적으로 이용되었습니다.SiFA 태그는 또한 티로신-3-옥트레오테이트 또는 TATE와 같은 펩티드를 표적으로 하는 방사성 라벨링, 암 표적화에 적합한 것으로 나타났다. 여기에 표시된 F-18 라벨SiFAlin-TATE 추적기는 암 환자에서 신경 내분비 종양을 시각화하는 데 사용되었습니다.
