アルミニウム合金を水素で充電する場合、表面に酸化膜が存在することが課題となる。この問題を解決するために、水中での摩擦を利用して、アルミニウム合金に高量の水素を導入できる方法を開発しました。この方法は、研磨紙上の攪拌棒と標本の回転を視覚化できる場合に最も理解しやすい方法です。成功は、攪拌バーの回転を安定させることに依存します。この手順を実演するのも、研究室の学部生である荒山美智子さんです。テキストに記載されているように、アルミニウム合金試験片を製造する。空気炉内の試験片を摂氏520度で1時間加熱し、水で試験片を焼入れ、溶液熱処理を行います。次のステップのために、ピークエイジング熱処理は、18時間摂氏175度で試験片をアニールする。試験片を準備する最後のステップは、炭化ケイ素エメリー紙を使用して表面を研磨することです。水の手順で摩擦に進む前に、計量し、テストピースを測定します。電気バランスを使用して、テストピースを0.0001グラムの精度に計量します。光学コンパレータを使用して、試験片の厚さと幅を0.0001ミリメートルの精度まで測定します。水の摩擦手順は、磁性攪拌カスタムメイドの反応容器で行われる。まず、接着剤を使用して、フッ素炭素ポリマー三角形の攪拌棒に2つの試験片を取り付けます。次に、反応容器、カスタムメイドのガラス容器を調製する。両面テープを使用して、反応容器の裏底に研磨紙を貼り付けます。反応容器を磁気攪拌機の上に置きます。次に、試験片を置き、研磨紙と反応容器の上にバーをかき混ぜ、蒸留水を100ミリリットル加えます。ゴムカバーを反応容器に置きます。ガス入口を高純度アルゴンに接続し、ガスをオンにします。ガス出口をガスクロマトグラフに接続します。ゴムカバーを通して容器にpHの調査を入れる。アルゴンをオンにします。反応容器内のガスがアルゴンに完全に置き換えられた後、装置はアルミニウム合金試験片を充電する準備ができている。磁気スターラーをオンにします。水中の攪拌棒の動きを安定させるためには、回転速度を制御することが重要である。60 rpm から 240 rpm までの速度が最適です。2分毎に、ガスクロマトグラフを用いて水素濃度を測定し、pHを測定する。1時間後、磁気スターラーをオフにし、テストピースを取り出し、反応容器からバーをかき混ぜます。試験片を攪拌棒から取り外し、アセトンに浸し、超音波振動を5分間塗布します。次のステップに進む前に、テストピースの重量と厚さを測定します。引張試験機を使用して、試験片の材料特性を測定します。機械のクロスヘッド速度を毎分2ミリメートルに設定します。次に、テストピースの応力とひずみの関係を測定します。水面での摩擦時に吸収される水素の量を算出するには、まず、加熱した際に試験片によって放出される水素を測定する。テストピースを1×5×10ミリメートルの長方形に切ります。試験片を直径10ミリメートルの石英管の中に入れ、水筒管を管状の炉に入れます。チューブをガスクロマトグラフとアルゴンガス供給に接続します。アルゴンガスの流れをオンにします。試験片を含む石英管を加熱し、摂氏625度に達するまで1時間あたり200°Cの一定速度で温度を上げます。石英管と試験片が加熱されている間、ガスクロマトグラフを使用して、2分ごとに放出される水素を測定します。3種類の鉄濃度のアルミニウム・マグネシウム-シリコン合金は、水の手順で摩擦、0.1%鉄、0.2%鉄、および0.7%鉄を施しました。鉄濃度にかかわらず、試験片は、手順中に大量の水素を放出した。熱脱離解析は、荷電していないサンプルと水素荷電サンプルの両方に対して行った。合金の鉄濃度に関係なく、水の摩擦の結果として水素濃度の総量が増加した。湿気の多い空気中で前染色する方法と比較して、水中での摩擦は、アルミニウム合金を水素に帯電する有効な方法である。熱脱離解析は、水の方法で摩擦を使用して荷電した合金に対して高い水素放出率を示し、計算された水素濃度は実質的に高かった。非荷電合金サンプルと比較して、水素荷電合金サンプルは低い延性を示した。これは、水の摩擦が水素脆化をもたらしたことを示している。2次電子顕微鏡を用いて、0.1%鉄を含有するアルミニウム・マグネシウム・シリコン合金の破壊形態を調べた。水の摩擦の後、モルフォロジーは穀物境界破壊に変わった。これは、水の摩擦法によって導入された水素原子が穀物境界の凝集を高め、水素脆化を引き起こすことを示している。攪拌速度が遅い脆い変形を伴う露出や湿気の多い空気を通して、水素帯電アルミニウム合金を可能にします。しかし、現在の方法では、より多くの水素充電が生じる。この方法により、さまざまな化学組成を有するアルミニウム合金の水素脆化感度を評価することが容易になります。水素貯蔵材料の開発に応用してもよい。
