100多年前，埃因霍温发明了一种记录双极三通道心电图10的方法。这个三通道心电图提供了识别电心轴和可能心肌缺血的机会，特别是在心肌11的劣质区域。因此，在临床日常实践中，双极性埃因霍温铅I-III是12领先心电图的重要组成部分，使心律测定或心肌缺血检测。
近几十年来，心肌梗死的早期诊断，特别是早期治疗已大为改善。然而，特别是在症状出现早期，许多患者不愿联系专业帮助。因此，第一次医疗接触和开始适当的治疗往往被推迟12。在症状出现后，早期登记和传播患者导向的心电图可能会加速特定治疗，从而使患者结果更好7。到目前为止，智能设备的缺血检测是有限的，因为主要是单铅（埃因托芬I），或在我们的研究中，最大三铅（埃因托芬I-III）ECG可以记录，这仅代表心肌的有限区域。
