Vi beskriver en protokol for en tre-dimensionel co-kultur model af inficerede luftveje, ved hjælp af CFBE41o- celler, THP-1 makrofager, og Pseudomonas aeruginosa, etableret på luft-væske interface. Denne model giver en ny platform til samtidig at teste antibiotika effekt, epitelbarriere funktion, og inflammatoriske markører.
