Questo articolo descrive un protocollo passo-passo per impostare un modello suino ex vivo di cheratite batterica. Pseudomonas aeruginosa è usato come organismo prototipico. Questo modello innovativo imita l'infezione in vivo in quanto la proliferazione batterica dipende dalla capacità del batterio di danneggiare il tessuto corneale.
