인간의 신장 생검 표본은 제한적이고 귀중한 자원입니다. 따라서 신장 조직에서 전사학을 심문하는 기술은 조직을 경제화하도록 최적화되어야 합니다. 세포 및 지역 수준에서 전사학을 연구하는 이용 가능한 방법은 단일 세포 RNA 시퀀싱(scRNaseq), 단일 핵 RNaseq(snRNaseq), 현장에서 공간 혼성화 및 레이저 미세 절(LMD)을 포함한다. 후자는 다운스트림 RNA 시퀀싱 및분석2,3,4,5에대한 조직 섹션 내의 관심 영역 또는 구조의 정확한 격리에 적합합니다. LMD는 해부 도중 형광 기지를 둔 화상 진찰을 사용하여 검증된 마커를 기반으로 특정 세포 모형 또는 구조물의 식별에 의지하기 위하여 채택될 수 있습니다.
