レーザー加熱DAC技術は、惑星内部の高圧材料科学と鉱物物理学研究のために採用されています1,2.この技術にアクセスできる研究所の数は増えていますが、通常は開発とメンテナンスに多大な労力を要します。レーザー加熱技術は、7000 K3の高い温度を達成するために使用されています。しかし、レーザー加熱実験における長期安定加熱と温度測定は、永続的な問題となっています。レーザー加熱時の温度は通常変動しますが、熱放射とレーザーパワーの間のフィードバックカップリングによって軽減することができます。より困難な制御と異なるレーザー吸光度の複数の段階のアセンブリの温度を決定します。温度もかなり大きな勾配と不確実性を持っています (Kの数百) しかし、最近の技術的な開発努力は、この問題を軽減するために使用されています4,5,6.加熱されたサンプル領域の温度勾配は、拡散、再分配または部分的融解によって引き起こされる化学的不均一性をさらに導入する場合があります。さらに、1100K未満の温度は、典型的には、赤外線波長範囲で高感度の検出器をカスタマイズすることなく、正確に測定することができませんでした。

BX-90タイプDACは、XRDおよびレーザー分光測定用の大型開口(最大90°)を備えた新開発のピストンシリンダーDACで、ミニチュア抵抗ヒーターを取り付けるスペースと開口部を備えています。シリンダー側のU字型のカットは、温度勾配によって生じるピストンとシリンダー側の間の応力を解放する余地を提供します。そのため、最近では、外部加熱セットアップで粉末または単結晶XRDおよびブリルアン測定に広く使用されています。本研究では、EHDACを調製するための再現性と標準化されたプロトコルについて説明し、11.2 GPaおよび300-500 KのEHDACを用いて合成された単結晶氷VIIの単結晶XRDおよびブリルアン分光測定を実証した。
