Hier presenteren we een eenvoudige en efficiënte methode om levende meiotische en post-meiotische kiemcellen te isoleren van volwassen muispesten. Met behulp van een lage cytotoxiciteit, violet-opgewonden DNA bindende kleurstof en fluorescentie-geactiveerde celsorde, kan men zeer verrijkte spermatogene celpopulaties isoleren voor vele downstream toepassingen.
