Denne protokollen beskriver en metode for å undersøke sosialt hierarki i en rottemodell. Rotter utfører en kompleks dykking-for-mat oppgave der de danner et tydelig hierarki i henhold til deres villighet til å dykke under vann og svømme for å få en matpellet.
