システム概要
照明システムの構築には、(1)電子回路の構築、(2)周辺機器(電源コード、電源スイッチなど)の構築、(3)LEDの構築、(4)これらすべてのコンポーネントの組み立て、および(5)ユーザーインターフェイスでLEDを制御するソフトウェアのインストールが含まれます(図1A)。完成すると、照明システムはユーザーインターフェイスを使用して最大4つのLEDを個別に制御できます(図1B)。ユーザーインターフェイスにより、各LEDを指定された時間間隔でパルスし、指定された時間後にシャットオフすることができます。指定した時間に照明プログラムを開始するための開始遅延もあります。ポテンショメータ(POT)は、各LEDの強度を個別に調整するか、コンピュータなしで手動LED制御に使用できます。LEDへのワイヤは任意のカスタム長さにすることができ、インキュベーターまたはラボスペースに簡単に配置できます。これらのLEDは高出力であるため、離れた場所から1つのLEDで広い領域を照らすために使用できます。
LED ドライバの説明

LEDコンピュータ制御システムの説明
LED照明システムは、コンピュータやマイクロコントローラなしで一定の照明に使用できます。ただし、パルスプログラムや個々のLEDタイミングの制御には、マイクロコントローラをインストールする必要があります。マイクロコントローラを使用してLEDを制御するには、マイクロコントローラを回路に接続するためのトランジスタが必要です。このトランジスタは、マイクロコントローラからの電圧を検出し、導電性または絶縁性から切り替わります。「オン」と「オフ」を制御するために、R2の両端で制御可能なシャントとして「NPNスイッチングタイプトランジスタ」(2N2222)と呼ばれるものを使用します(補足図1A)。マイクロコントローラからの電圧がトランジスタベースに印加されると、トランジスタは導電性になり、LED電圧を低くしてLEDをオフにします。したがって、LEDとトランジスタのオンとオフの状態は、PCにインストールされているソフトウェアによって制御されるマイクロコントローラによって直接制御されます。
