Denne protokol beskriver brugen af en genetisk kodet brintoverilte (H2O2)-biosensor i dyrkede zebrafisk neuroner og larver til vurdering af de fysiologiske signalroller af H2O2 under udvikling af nervesystemet. Det kan anvendes til forskellige celletyper og modificeres med eksperimentelle behandlinger for at studere reaktive iltarter (ROS) i generel udvikling.
