최근 인간 동맥1,2,3,4,5의3D 모델을 활용하여 여러 가지 접근 법이 적용되었습니다. 이러한 모델은 생체 내인체에 있는 다른 동맥의 생리해부학 및 환경을 복제합니다. 그러나, 그(것)들은 주로 세포 생물학 연구 결과에서 이용되었습니다. 내피성으로 입자의 혈관 표적화에 대한 현재 연구는 실리코 전산 시뮬레이션6,7,8, 체외 미세 유체 모델9,10,11및 생체 내 동물모델(12)에포함된다. 그들이 제공 한 통찰력에도 불구하고, 이러한 실험 모델은 정확하게 혈액 흐름과 혈역학이 지배적 인 요인을 구성하는 인간의 동맥에서 발생하는 타겟팅 프로세스를 시뮬레이션하는 데 실패했습니다. 예를 들어, 복잡한 재순환 흐름 패턴 및 벽 전단 응력 그라데이션으로 알려진 경동맥 분열에서 죽상 경화성 영역을 표적으로 하는 입자의 연구는내피(13),14,15,16에도달하기 전에 입자가 취한 여행에 영향을 미칠 수 있다. 따라서 이러한 연구는 생리적 환경, 즉크기, 치수, 해부학 및 유동 프로필을 복제하는 조건하에서 수행해야 합니다.
