次世代シーケンシング(NGS)は、治療を導き、科学的発見を促進するために、患者ケアとがん研究の両方にますます利用されています。組織はしばしば限られており、腫瘍含有量が可変の小さな標本が日常的に使用されている。したがって、腫瘍の妥当性と完全性は、意味のあるデータを得るための障壁のままです。腫瘍パーセンテージが低いサンプルは、真のバリアントとシーケンシングアーティファクトを区別するのが難しくなる可能性があり、NGS1に不適格であることがよくあります。腫瘍含量が低い症例(20%未満のもの)の腫瘍濃縮は、再現性のあるシーケンシングデータを生成し、低頻度変異体が見逃されないようにするために十分な材料を得るのに役立つことが示されている2、3。ただし、制限は、使用されるプラットフォームと生成されたデータの計画的な使用によって異なります。

Automated Dissection Protocol for Tumor Enrichment in Low Tumor Content Tissues
