Her præsenterer vi en protokol, hvor enkelte celler overvåges for akutte hændelser og produktiv HIV-1-infektion på en nanofluidisk enhed. Billeddata definerer virusværtsreceptorinteraktioner og signalvejsdynamik. Dette er den første metode til nanofluidic high-throughput langsgående enkeltcellekultur og billeddannelse til at studere signalering af kinetik og molekylære interaktioner.
