Den ikke-menneskelige primat (NHP) er en ideel model til at studere human retinal cellulær terapi på grund af de anatomiske og genetiske ligheder. Dette manuskript beskriver en metode til submakulær transplantation af retinale pigment epitelceller i NHP øje og strategier til at forhindre intraoperative komplikationer forbundet med makula manipulation.
