Protein thiol oxidation har betydelige konsekvenser under normale fysiologiske og patofysiologiske forhold. Vi beskriver detaljerne i en kvantitativ redoxproteomics-metode, der anvender harpiksassisteret indfangning, isobarisk mærkning og massespektrometri, hvilket muliggør stedsspecifik identifikation og kvantificering af reversibelt oxiderede cysteinrester af proteiner.
