由于没有使用神经导航/单个MRI（由于费用，大多数实验室没有这些资源），因此可能会对TMS靶向的定位和准确性提出担忧。我们通过偶尔进行基准程序来弥补这一点，其中将造影剂靶标（例如，维生素E片剂）放在盖子上，然后/在结构MRI11，12中扫描参与者。这些方法已经证实了这里概述的方法的准确性，我们将MPFC的内侧方面定位在BA 10/9的边界，该边界位于内侧额叶回（0，~40，~30）上方。
