광학 간섭 단층 촬영 (OCT)은 조직 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8, 특히 망막 9,10,11,12의 비 침습적 검사를 위해 생체 내 고해상도 및 단면 이미징을 제공 할 수있는 이미징 기술입니다. . 또한 망막 두께 및 망막 신경 섬유 층 두께와 같은 몇 가지 중요한 바이오 마커를 정량화하는 데 사용할 수 있습니다. OCT의 원리는 샘플로부터 반사된 빛의 일관성으로부터 단면 조직 정보를 획득하고 컴퓨터 시스템(7)을 통해 그래픽 또는 디지털 형태로 변환하는 광학 간섭 반사 측정법이다. OCT는 망막 장애 환자의 진단, 후속 조치 및 관리를 위한 필수 도구로 안과 클리닉에서 널리 사용됩니다. 또한 망막 질환의 발병 기전에 대한 통찰력을 제공 할 수 있습니다.
임상 응용 외에도 OCT는 동물 연구에도 사용되었습니다. 병리학이 형태학적 특성화의 황금 표준이지만 OCT는 비침습적 생체 내 영상 및 종단 추적 관찰의 장점이 있습니다. 또한, OCT는 망막병증 동물 모델 11,13,14,15,16,17,18,19,20에서 조직병리학과 잘 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 마우스는 생물 의학 연구에서 가장 일반적으로 사용되는 동물입니다. 그러나 작은 안구는 마우스에서 OCT 이미징을 수행하는 데 기술적인 문제를 제기합니다.
