Este protocolo describe el análisis de morfología organoide rectal (ROMA), un nuevo ensayo diagnóstico para la fibrosis quística (FQ). Las características morfológicas, a saber, la redondez (índice de circularidad, IC) y la presencia de un lumen (relación de intensidad, IR), son una medida de la función CFTR. El análisis de 189 sujetos mostró una discriminación perfecta entre FQ y no FQ.
