뉴런 세로이드 리포푸시노스(NCL; Batten disease)는 뇌와 망막의 심각한 퇴행을 유발하는 치명적인 리소좀 축적 질환의 그룹입니다. 현재 주로 어린이에게 영향을 미치지 만 발병 연령과 질병 중증도가 다양한 다양한 다른 유전자 (CLN1-8, CLN10-14)의 돌연변이로 인한 NCL의 13 가지 알려진 변종이 있습니다6.
