Aqui, apresentamos um protocolo para criar xenoenxertos de carcinoma hepatocelular ortotópico com e sem ligadura da artéria hepática e realizamos tomografia por emissão de pósitrons (PET) não invasiva de hipóxia tumoral usando [18 F]Fluoromisonidazol ([18 F]FMISO) e [18 F]Fluorodesoxiglicose ([18F]FDG).
