줄기세포는 자가 재생 능력과 번역 잠재력이 있는 미분화 만능 세포입니다1. 중간엽 줄기세포(MSC)는 실험실에서 쉽게 분리, 배양, 확장 및 정제되며, 이는 여러 번 계대배양한 후에도 줄기세포의 특성을 유지합니다. 최근 몇 년 동안, 중간엽 줄기세포가 치료적 용도에서 측분비 방식으로 작용한다는 견해를 뒷받침하는 증거가 증가하고 있다 2,3. 특히 세포외 소포체(EV)의 분비는 중간엽 줄기세포의 생물학적 기능을 매개하는 데 중요한 역할을 합니다. 대부분의 세포 유형에서 방출되는 이질적인 막 나노입자인 EV는 엑소좀(Exos), 미세소포(MV) 및 더 큰 세포자멸사체(4,5)라는 하위 범주로 구성됩니다. 그 중 엑소스는 40-150nm 크기로 가장 널리 연구된 EV로 엔도솜 기원이며 생리학적 조건에서 활발하게 분비됩니다.
