Un modelo animal de hipoparatiroidismo adquirido (HypoPT) es crucial para comprender cómo HypoPT afecta la homeostasis de iones minerales y para verificar la efectividad de nuevos tratamientos. Aquí, se presenta una técnica para generar un modelo de rata de hipoparatiroidismo adquirido (AHypoPT) mediante paratiroidectomía (PTX) utilizando nanopartículas de carbono.
