포도막 흑색종의 표준 치료에는 시신경병증, 망막병증, 안구건조증 및 백내장으로 인한 시력 상실과 관련된 방사선 요법이 포함됩니다. 외과적 절제는 전형적으로 병변의 성장이 인식되고 특성화될 때까지 지연된다. 그러나, 이러한 지연은 전이성 질환 발병을 허용할 수 있다4. 어떤 경우에는 쓸데없는 적출이 필요합니다. 물론, 이 급진적인 시술은 시력을 손상시키고 극적인 미적 저하를 초래합니다.
