Het huidige protocol combineert ex vivo stimulatie en flowcytometrie om polyfunctionele T-cel (TPF) profielen te analyseren in perifere mononucleaire bloedcellen (PBMC's) binnen Japanse encefalitisvirus (JEV) -gevaccineerde kinderen. De detectiemethode en het flowcytometriekleurenschema van JEV-specifieke TPF's werden getest om een referentie te bieden voor vergelijkbare studies.
