Questo modello di suinetto prevede strumentazione chirurgica, asfissia fino all'arresto cardiaco, rianimazione e osservazione post-rianimazione. Il modello consente il campionamento multiplo per animale e, utilizzando la pressione arteriosa invasiva continua, l'ECG e il monitoraggio non invasivo della gittata cardiaca, fornisce conoscenze sull'emodinamica e sulla fisiopatologia cardiaca nell'asfissia perinatale e nella rianimazione cardiopolmonare neonatale.
