近年、幹細胞は、その多能性、自己複製、および再生サイトカインの分泌を促進する能力のために治療法として繁栄している6,7。以前の臨床実験では、脂肪由来の幹細胞ゲルが慢性糖尿病の足潰瘍の治療にプラスの効果があることが示されました8。著者らは、59人の患者で糖尿病性創傷の治療に幹細胞を使用することの有効性を検証した。12週目に、治療群および対照群における完全創傷閉鎖率はそれぞれ82%および53%であり、これは幹細胞が難治性糖尿病創傷の治療に有効であることを示している。全体として、幹細胞が再生、置換、修復、分化する能力は、ライフサイエンスコミュニティに無限の希望を与えました9。
