EPI-NCSC sind Reste der embryonalen Neuralleiste bei einem Erwachsenen Lage, die Wölbung der Haarfollikel. Sie sind multipotente Stammzellen, die die physiologische Eigenschaft auf eine breite Palette von differenzierten Zelltypen, einschließlich Neuronen, Nerven Stützzellen, glatte Muskelzellen, Knochen / Knorpel-Zellen und Melanozyten zu generieren. EPI-NCSC sind leicht zugänglich in der behaarten Haut und kann als hoch reinen Population von Stammzellen isoliert werden. Dieses Video gibt einen detaillierten Protokoll für die Vorbereitung Maus EPI-NCSC Kulturen aus Whisker Follikel. Die Whisker pad einer erwachsenen Maus entfernt wird, und Whisker Follikel zerlegt.
