De nieuwe cultuur van methode 2 kan gebruikt worden voor een breed scala aan toepassingen, variërend van enten van de groei factor met kralen 3, op hele berg in situ hybridisatie en hele berg immunohistochemie 4. Cultuur over een periode van 24 uur maakt de continue monitoring van de embryonale ontwikkeling in toepassingen zoals time lapse cel bewegingsanalyse 5 of de monitoring van GFP met geëlektroporeerd constructen 6.

Het kuiken embryo is een waardevol instrument in de studie van de vroege embryonale ontwikkeling. De transparantie, toegankelijkheid en het gemak van manipulatie, maken het een ideaal hulpmiddel voor het bestuderen van de vorming en patroonvorming van de hersenen, neurale buis, somiet en hart primordia. Toepassingen van kippenembryo cultuur onder electroporatie van DNA of RNA-constructen om genfunctie, enten van de groeifactor gecoate parels zoals FGF-en BMP&#39;s, evenals ganse berg te analyseren in situ hybridisatie en immunohistochemie. Deze video toont de verschillende stappen in kippenembryo cultuur, Ten eerste, het embryo geëxplanteerd in een zoutoplossing. Vervolgens wordt het embryo gecentreerd op een glazen ring. De vliezen rondom het embryo worden opgeheven langs de wanden van de ring. De ring wordt dan geplaatst in een cultuur schotel met een pool van albumine. De cultuur gerecht is afgesloten en geplaatst in een vochtige kamer, waar het embryo wordt gekweekt voor maximaal 24 uur. Ten slotte wordt de embryo verwijderd van de ring, vaste en verwerkt voor verdere toepassingen. Een gids is het oplossen van problemen ook gepresenteerd.
