Xue Bai received Bachelor's degree in Shenyang Agricultural University and Master's degree in China Agricultural University. During the master period, she became the expert of LC and MS, her main project was to study the proteomic and phosphoproteomic changes of maize under salt stress. Xue Bai joined Westlake University and worked for Mass Spectrometry & Metabolomics Core Facility as a technician from July 2018.

Baixue takes charge of the Bruker Ultraflax MALDI-TOF/TOF mass spectrometer and BioTek Microplate Reader, and involves in sample preparation for proteomic studies at Mass Spectrometry & Metabolomics Core Facility. In addition, she also undertakes part of administrative work, including equipment asset management, financial reimbursement, and assists the Biomedical Research core facility in daily administration and safety orientation.
