Tatum Sass is a junior at Clemson University. She is pursuing two degrees, Biochemistry B.S. and Genetics B.S, with honors. After graduating in May 2021, Tatum plans on pursuing her PhD in the field of genetics or immunology. She currently researches Drosophila genetics and DNA repair mechanisms, and would like to pursue a career as a computational virologist, with an emphasis on retroviruses and oncoviruses.
