Anna Zinovyeva is an Assistant Professor in the Division of Biology at Kansas State University in Manhattan, KS. She received her undergraduate degree at University of Maine at Farmington and a Ph.D. from Indiana University in Bloomington, IN. As a post-doctoral fellow in Victor Ambros's lab, Dr. Zinovyeva began working on microRNA-mediated regulation of gene expression. Her own lab at Kansas State University continues to study the molecular mechanisms by which microRNAs are produced and regulate genes.
