I completed my Bachelor's of Science in Biology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2019. In the fall of the same year, I began my graduate career as a PhD student in the lab of Dr. Trudy Mackay and Dr. Robert Anholt at the Clemson University Center for Human Genetics. My research focuses on the study of cocaine use disorder as a complex genetic trait, utilizing Drosophila melanogaster as a model organism.
