Varsha Suresh Kumar

Piyush Kumar is a final year PhD student in the Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering at the University of Sheffield, UK. His research is focussed on various applications of additive manufacturing technologies with special focus on droplet based 2D and 3D printing. He obtained his MSc in Nanomedicine from Swansea University, UK in 2016, where his dissertation project was focussed on 3D cell culture on synthetic scaffolds. Piyush's research interests range from 3D organoid culture and 3D tissue engineering to additive manufacturing or 3D printing of biomaterials for biomedical and environmental applications.
