Laboratory of Molecular Metabolism
Paul Cohen MD, PhD is the Albert Resnick, MD Assistant Professor and Head of the Laboratory of Molecular Metabolism at the Rockefeller University.
Dr. Cohen received his undergraduate degree from Harvard in 1996. He then entered the Tri-Institutional MD-PhD program, receiving his PhD in molecular genetics in 2003 from The Rockefeller University and his MD from Weill Cornell Medical College in 2004. He then completed clinical training in Internal Medicine at Columbia University Medical Center and in Cardiology at Brigham and Women’s Hospital.
He completed his postdoctoral research at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and Harvard Medical School in Dr. Bruce Spiegelman’s laboratory. Dr. Cohen joined the faculty of Rockefeller in 2015 where his lab focuses on dissecting the mechanisms underpinning obesity-related diseases.
