I am a research technician working in the Huang Lab at the Penn State College of Medicine, in Hershey, PA. I received my B.S. in Biology with a specialization in Genetics and Evolution, from the University of Montana in 2017. While I was working on my degree and after I graduated, I worked in a neuro-behavior lab at the University of Montana, and studied the effects of octopamine and glutamate on aggression and courtship in Drosophila melanogaster. At Penn State Hershey, my interests are bioinformatics, effective data communication, and how therapeutic outcomes can be improved through biomedical research.
