Hairuo Lin is a graduate student in Cardiovascular Medicine at Southern Hospital of Southern Medical University. During his postgraduate studies, he mastered and improved a variety of mouse cardiovascular disease models, such as myocardial infarction (MI), aortic arch constriction (TAC), pulmonary trunk constriction (PAC) and left ventricular remodeling (LVR). He has been engaged in the research of cardiovascular disease pathogenesis, mainly focusing on the study of cardiac hypertrophy and heart failure. His current research direction is the involvement of non-coding RNAs in exercise hypertrophy preconditioning.
In his work, he used next-generation sequencing, CHIRP to analyze non-coding RNA and protein interactions in hypertrophic preconditioning mechanisms. At the same time, he first prepared and improved the PAC model in the laboratory to provide a stable animal model basis for the study of right heart hypertrophy.
